Multiple Deco M4 units work together using TP-Link Mesh Technology to create a unified network with a single network name. Your devices automatically connect to the strongest signal as you move through your home, whether you have a ranch-style, multi-story, or L-shaped layout. Optional Ethernet backhaul between units provides even faster network speeds.

High-Performance Connectivity

The Deco M4 handles traffic from up to 100 devices simultaneously with MU-MIMO technology, making it suitable for busy households with multiple smartphones, tablets, laptops, and smart home devices. Each unit includes 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports with WAN/LAN auto-sensing and features 2 internal dual-band antennas.

Flexible Operating Modes

This system functions as a router, access point, or range extender depending on your network requirements. It works with major internet service providers and modems, and is compatible with all other Deco models for future network expansion.

Simple Setup and Management

The Deco app guides you through installation and provides remote network management from anywhere. Monitor connected devices, set up guest networks, and control your Wi-Fi settings through the intuitive interface. Voice control is available through Alexa integration.

Built-In Parental Controls

Create individual profiles for each family member to limit online time and block inappropriate websites. The system includes WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption and SPI firewall protection for network security.
