MU-MIMO Technology and Performance

Equipped with 802.11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO, the EAP225 transfers data to multiple devices concurrently rather than sequentially. The access point features beamforming technology that concentrates signal strength toward connected devices, improving connection stability and speed. Band steering automatically moves dual-band capable devices to the 5GHz band to optimize network performance.

Centralized Management Options

Manage your network through the Omada Cloud Controller OC200, Omada Software Controller, or the mobile Omada app. Cloud service enables remote access to your network from any location. The EAP Controller Software allows administrators to manage hundreds of EAPs from a single interface, with support for management VLAN for enhanced network organization.

Guest Network and Authentication

The captive portal feature controls network access with multiple authentication methods including Facebook Wi-Fi and SMS verification. This functionality is particularly useful for businesses that provide guest Wi-Fi, allowing customer engagement through Facebook check-ins while maintaining network security.

Flexible Power and Installation

The EAP225 supports both 802.3af PoE and Passive PoE power supply options.
