The EAP772 utilizes Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) technology with support for 320 MHz bandwidth channels, enabling faster data transmission and reduced latency. The clean 6 GHz band provides additional spectrum free from interference, while MLO (Multi-Link Operation) and 4K-QAM modulation maximize throughput efficiency. MU-MIMO and OFDMA technologies allow simultaneous connections to 380+ concurrent clients across 1,500 square feet of coverage.

A single 2.5G Ethernet port unlocks the full potential of Wi-Fi 7 speeds without network bottlenecks. The access point supports 802.3at PoE or 12V/2.5A DC power with maximum consumption of 24.05W, simplifying installation in locations where power outlets are limited. Ceiling and wall mounting kits are included for flexible deployment options.

Enterprise Management and Security

Integration with TP-Link's Omada ecosystem enables centralized management through the Omada Cloud-Based Controller, Hardware Controllers (OC200/OC300), or Software Controller. Configure mesh networking, AI roaming, and monitor up to 24 SSIDs (8 per band) from a single interface. Advanced security features include WPA3-Enterprise, captive portal authentication, MAC filtering for up to 4,000 devices, VLAN support, and rogue AP detection.
