The ASUS ZenWiFi XD5 delivers whole-home WiFi 6 coverage with AX3000 dual-band speeds up to 3000 Mbps—574 Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2402 Mbps on 5GHz. This single-unit mesh system provides the foundation for expandable network coverage using ASUS AiMesh technology.

WiFi 6 Performance with 160MHz Bandwidth

Supporting high-speed 160MHz channels, the ZenWiFi XD5 increases network capacity while reducing congestion. This WiFi 6 (802.11ax) router is up to 3X faster than WiFi 5 routers, providing the bandwidth needed for 8K streaming, online gaming, and multiple connected devices simultaneously.

AiMesh Technology for Network Expansion

The ZenWiFi XD5 features ASUS AiMesh technology, allowing you to create a seamless mesh network by adding compatible ASUS routers as nodes. The system supports flexible network naming—choose a single SSID for all bands or separate names for 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies.

Simple Setup with ASUS Router App

Configuration takes just three steps: power on the device, create your WiFi network name and admin account, then wait three minutes. The ASUS Router app provides intuitive management for network settings, connected devices, and security features. One-time setup automatically synchronizes settings across all AiMesh nodes.

AiProtection Classic Security

Included free for life, AiProtection Classic provides comprehensive network security with malicious site blocking, infected device prevention, and real-time threat detection. Parental Controls feature URL filtering and scheduling to manage Internet access for family members.

Connectivity and Specifications

The router includes one Gigabit WAN/LAN port and one Gigabit LAN port for wired connections up to 1000 Mbps. Two internal dual-band antennas provide wireless coverage. The system supports WPA3-Personal encryption, VPN server/client functionality (IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP, L2TP), and IPv6. Power requirements: 12V with 1.5A maximum current.
