Power Design and Memory Support

Featuring an 8+2+1 phase power design with Dr.MOS technology for VCore, SOC, and MISC, the B850M Pro RS ensures stable power delivery to your processor. The board supports dual-channel DDR5 memory across four DIMM slots, with speeds reaching up to 8000+ MHz when overclocked. Maximum memory capacity extends to 256GB, supporting both ECC and non-ECC unbuffered modules with XMP and EXPO profile compatibility.

Storage and Expansion Options

Storage flexibility comes through three M.2 sockets and four SATA3 ports. The primary M2_1 socket supports PCIe Gen5 x4 speeds (128 Gb/s) with compatible Ryzen 9000 and 7000 series processors, while two additional Hyper M.2 sockets provide PCIe Gen4 x4 connectivity. All M.2 slots accommodate 2280 form factor drives, with NVMe SSD boot support. The motherboard includes an M.2 bottom heatsink to maintain optimal temperatures during intensive operations.
