Advanced Cooling Technology

Featuring 7 high-performance copper heat pipes and a special black ceramic coating, the Dark Rock Pro 5 provides superior heat dissipation. The nickel-plated base is compatible with liquid metal thermal compounds like DC2 Pro, enabling even greater cooling potential for extreme performance builds.

Dual Silent Wings PWM Fans

Two Silent Wings fans with fluid-dynamic bearings and 6-pole motors deliver optimal airflow while maintaining near-silent operation. The 135mm front fan features a funnel-shaped outlet for ideal air distribution and tight tip clearance for high static pressure. The 120mm rear fan completes the push-pull configuration. Rubberized fan frames prevent vibration transfer, further reducing noise levels.

Performance Flexibility with Speed Switch

The integrated Speed Switch offers two operational modes. Quiet Mode limits fan speed to 1500rpm for everyday computing with noise levels as low as 8.9 dB(A). Performance Mode unleashes the full 2000rpm capability, providing maximum cooling power for intensive workloads and overclocking sessions, with noise reaching only 23.3 dB(A) at full load.

Universal Socket Compatibility

Compatible with Intel sockets 1851, 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, and 1155, plus AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms. The height-adjustable front fan and generous heat sink cut-outs ensure compatibility with high-profile RAM modules and VRM coolers. Dimensions: 145 x 136 x 168mm.

Installation and Design

The mounting system features a pre-installed mounting bridge with fixing screws in a completely black finish. The detachable mesh top cover with integrated middle fan installs from above for convenient assembly. The iconic Dark Rock aesthetic combines form and function with its distinctive black ceramic-coated aluminum fins and CNC-machined copper base.
