Codegen 2U Rackmount Server Chassis - 405mm Deep

The Codegen 2U rackmount case delivers compact server housing with a shallow 405mm depth (including handles), making it suitable for installations where space is limited. This rackmount chassis supports both Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards, providing flexibility for various server configurations.

Integrated Cooling System

This rackmount server case includes 3x 80mm HDB PWM fans pre-installed at the front. The 4-pin PWM fan connectors enable automatic speed control based on motherboard temperature readings, allowing the fans to adjust performance dynamically. This ensures efficient cooling while minimizing noise levels during low-demand periods.

Storage Configuration Options

The chassis accommodates multiple storage configurations through shared drive bays. You can install up to 4x 3.5" HDDs, or combine 1x 2.5" SSD with 3x 3.5" HDDs, or utilize 3x 2.5" SSDs with 1x 3.5" HDD. This flexibility supports various storage requirements for server deployments.

Compact Design Specifications

Measuring 430mm wide x 89mm high x 380mm deep (excluding handles), or 482mm wide x 89mm high x 405mm deep (including handles), this 2U rackmount fits standard 19-inch racks. The case features 85mm of internal cable management depth and supports motherboards up to 275mm x 250mm.

Component Compatibility

The rackmount chassis supports GPUs up to 180mm in length and CPU coolers up to 67mm in height. It includes 4 half-height expansion slots for network cards, RAID controllers, or other PCI expansion cards. The PSU compartment, located at the rear right, accommodates standard ATX power supplies up to 200mm in length.

Ventilation and Monitoring

Top panel ventilation above the PSU location enhances airflow throughout the chassis. The front panel includes 1x USB 3.0 port, 1x USB 2.0 port, power and reset switches, plus status LEDs for power (green) and HDD activity (red).

Construction Details

Built from 1.0mm SGCC steel with a metal front bezel and side panels, this rackmount case provides durability for server room environments. The black front bezel contrasts with the bare metal body finish.

Air Ventilation - Designed with ventilation on the top panel where the PSU is located to increase airflow inside the Rackmount to keep components at peak performance.

LEDs for Server Functions - LEDs to indicate the following: Machine state (Power LED x 1 green), HDD Activity (HDD LED x 1 red).
