Secure VPN Connectivity for Remote Access

Supporting up to 4 concurrent VPN tunnels with 390Mbps IPsec VPN throughput, this router connects branch offices and remote workers securely. Compatible protocols include IPsec IKEv1 & IKEv2 with EAP and XAuth authentication, OpenVPN, and WireGuard for both LAN-to-LAN and Dial-In teleworker VPNs. Two-factor authentication options include mOTP, TOTP, Email, and SMS for enhanced security.

Multi-Gigabit Ports and Network Segmentation

The Vigor 2136AX includes four LAN ports: one 2.5GbE port and three 1GbE ports for wired connections to computers, servers, and network-attached storage. Support for up to four LAN subnets and VLANs enables network segmentation for guest networks, IoT devices, and departmental separation. Full 802.1Q VLAN tagging compatibility allows integration with managed switches like the DrayTek VigorSwitch P2100.

Advanced Routing and Failover Protection

Route Policy provides comprehensive control over outbound traffic routing, enabling VPN routing for all or select traffic, service routing for specific ports through designated WANs or VPN tunnels, and extensive failover/failback configurations. The router supports multiple WAN connections including Ethernet WAN, LTE USB modems, and WiFi WAN for guaranteed internet connectivity.

Configurable Security and Wireless Management

Each subnet can be configured with independent Content Filtering, Firewall rules, Quality of Service policies, and Route Policy settings. The wireless LAN supports multiple SSIDs with VLAN assignment, enabling secure guest networks separated from internal resources. Compatible with DrayTek VigorAP wireless access points for expanded coverage across subnets.
