The VigorAP 905 delivers enterprise-grade WiFi 6 performance with combined wireless speeds up to 3Gbps across dual bands. This mesh-capable access point features a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet uplink port and four additional Gigabit Ethernet ports, providing flexible connectivity options for high-bandwidth networks.

WiFi 6 Performance and Connectivity

Equipped with 802.11ax technology, the VigorAP 905 achieves up to 2400Mbps on 5GHz and 600Mbps on 2.4GHz using 2x2 MIMO spatial streams. The access point supports up to 256 concurrent clients across 16 SSIDs (8 per band), making it suitable for high-density environments. OFDMA, BSS Colouring, and 1024-QAM modulation ensure efficient spectrum utilization and reduced interference.

Advanced Security with WPA3

Security is reinforced with WPA3-Personal and WPA3-Enterprise encryption standards, alongside 802.1x RADIUS authentication. The device supports mixed WPA3/WPA2 mode for transitioning networks, with EAPOL Key Retry protection against KRACK vulnerabilities. MAC address filtering accommodates up to 128 entries for granular access control.

Mesh Networking Capabilities

Configure up to 8 VigorAPs in a mesh group with support for 3 mesh hops per chain. The mesh system includes self-healing capabilities, configuration synchronization, and optional wired uplinks. Multiple SSIDs can be broadcast across the mesh network, enabling separate internal and guest networks throughout your coverage area.

Centralized Management

The built-in Wireless Virtual Controller manages up to 20 VigorAPs with auto-provisioning and zero-touch deployment. Management options include web interface (HTTP/HTTPS), TR-069, CLI via Telnet/SSH, and SNMP v2/v2c/v3. Schedule wireless activation, automatic reboots, and LED status to match operational requirements.

Installation Flexibility

The compact form factor (115mm x 40mm x 158mm) allows wall mounting or desk placement. Four yellow Gigabit Ethernet ports function as a mini switch for connecting computers, printers, or other wired devices. LED indicators can be scheduled or disabled. Maximum power consumption is 17 watts via the included 12V DC power adapter.
