The VigorSwitch G2100 is a high-performance Layer 2+ managed Ethernet switch designed for business networks requiring advanced control and centralized management. Centralized Management Options
The G2100 integrates seamlessly with DrayTek's management platforms including VigorACS, VigorConnect, and router-based Central Switch Management. Configure multiple switches remotely, apply profiles across your network, and manage VLAN settings directly through your DrayTek Vigor router (requires firmware 3.9.1 or later). This approach reduces setup time and simplifies complex network configurations without requiring deep VLAN expertise.
Dynamic VLAN Capabilities
MAC-based VLAN assigns network access to individual devices rather than ports, ensuring devices connect to the correct network regardless of physical port location. Users can move throughout the office while maintaining consistent network access. Auto Voice and Surveillance VLAN automatically identifies IP phones and cameras by MAC address (Vendor OUI), applying appropriate VLAN tags and Quality of Service settings without manual port configuration.
Layer 2+ Routing Features
The switch includes Layer 3 capabilities: VLAN routing, DHCP server functionality, and static routing for full-speed inter-VLAN routing. Access Control Lists provide granular control over traffic flow between networks.
ONVIF IP Camera Management
Discover, manage, and configure ONVIF-compatible IP cameras and NVR systems directly from the switch interface. The G2100 determines network topology automatically, monitors camera status, and stores recent snapshots from each connected camera. When a camera goes offline, the switch sends email alerts with the last-seen snapshot for quick troubleshooting and location identification.
Network Security and Monitoring
IP Conflict Detection identifies and notifies administrators of IP address conflicts. IP Conflict Prevention catalogs network layout, allowing you to lock IP and MAC information for critical devices like servers and routers. The switch automatically blocks misconfigured or malicious devices attempting to use protected IP addresses, preventing ARP spoofing attacks.
Quality of Service and Traffic Control
802.1p Class of Service prioritizes mission-critical traffic such as VoIP, ensuring important data moves ahead in queues at busy uplinks. Per-port rate limiting and application-specific traffic shaping provide precise throughput management across your network.
