Epson EcoTank ET-2862 Wireless All-in-One Ink Tank Printer

The Epson EcoTank ET-2862 delivers cartridge-free printing with ultra-high capacity ink tanks that include up to 3 years worth of ink. This wireless multifunction printer combines print, scan, and copy capabilities in a compact design suitable for home offices and small workspaces.

Cartridge-Free Printing System

The EcoTank system eliminates traditional cartridges with refillable 65ml ink tanks for each color (black, cyan, magenta, yellow). Key-lock bottles ensure only the correct color can be inserted, preventing mistakes during refills. The front-mounted ink level display provides clear visibility of remaining ink levels, making it easy to monitor when refills are needed.

Wireless Connectivity and Smart Control

Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity allow printing from mobiles, tablets, and laptops without network constraints. The Epson Smart Panel app enables complete printer control from smart devices, including printing, copying, scanning, setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting functions directly from your phone or tablet.

Print Quality and Performance

Equipped with Epson Micro Piezo™ print head technology, the ET-2862 delivers 5760 x 1440 DPI resolution using 180 black nozzles and 59 nozzles per color. Print speeds reach 10 pages per minute for monochrome documents and 5 pages per minute for color. Borderless photo printing up to 10x15cm produces lab-quality photos in 69 seconds.

Scanning and Copying Capabilities

The integrated Contact Image Sensor (CIS) scanner provides 1200 x 2400 DPI optical resolution. Scan A4 documents in 11 seconds for black and white or 28 seconds for color. Output formats include BMP, JPEG, TIFF, PDF, and PNG, offering flexibility for various document workflows.

Paper Handling and Media Support

The 100-sheet rear paper tray accommodates multiple formats including A4, A5, A6, B5, B6, envelopes, and photo sizes from 9x13cm to 13x20cm. Compatible paper weights range from 64 g/m² to 300 g/m², with manual duplex printing available. The 30-sheet output tray handles everyday printing tasks efficiently.

Heat-Free Technology and Durability

Heat-Free Printing Technology ensures the printhead lasts the lifetime of the printer, eliminating replacement parts and reducing power consumption to just 0.15 kWh per week. The system is engineered to prevent nozzle clogging, maintaining consistent print quality over time.
