Built on IEEE 802.11ax standards, the EAP610 utilizes 1024-QAM modulation and 4x longer OFDM symbols to maximize data transmission efficiency. The dual-band configuration with internal omni-directional antennas (2x4 dBi at 2.4 GHz, 2x5 dBi at 5 GHz) ensures comprehensive coverage. Beamforming technology directs signals toward connected clients, while Band Steering and Load Balance features optimize network distribution across both frequency bands.

Omada SDN Integration and Management

This access point integrates seamlessly into the Omada Software Defined Networking platform, enabling centralized control through the Omada Hardware Controller (OC200/OC300), Omada Software Controller, or cloud-based management via web interface and mobile app. Multi-site management capabilities allow network administrators to oversee distributed deployments from a single dashboard. Zero-Touch Provisioning simplifies deployment for V1, V2, and V2.2 hardware versions.

Flexible Installation with PoE+ Support

The EAP610 supports IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet, eliminating the need for separate power outlets and simplifying installation in challenging locations. A DC power option (12V/1A) provides installation flexibility. Power consumption remains efficient at 12.8W (PoE) or 10.8W (DC) in EU configurations. The compact 243 x 243 x 64 mm housing includes mounting kits for both ceiling and wall installations with a tool-free locking mechanism.
