The Ubiquiti U7-LITE delivers WiFi 7 performance in a compact, ceiling-mounted design. With 4.3 Gbps maximum data rates and support for 200+ concurrent clients, this access point handles demanding network environments with 4 spatial streams and a 2.5 GbE uplink.

WiFi 7 Performance

Built on the 802.11be standard, the U7-LITE achieves 4.3 Gbps on the 5 GHz band (BW240) and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz (BW40). The access point supports 2x2 DL/UL MU-MIMO on both bands, with antenna gains of 5 dBi (5 GHz) and 4 dBi (2.4 GHz). Maximum transmit power reaches 24 dBm on 5 GHz and 23 dBm on 2.4 GHz.

Network Coverage and Capacity

Covering up to 115 m² (1,250 ft²), the U7-LITE manages 200+ client devices simultaneously. The 2.5 GbE RJ45 port ensures sufficient backhaul capacity for high-throughput applications. The access point supports 8 BSSIDs per radio for network segmentation.

Advanced UniFi Features

The U7-LITE includes wireless meshing, band steering, and 802.11v BSS Transition Management. Fast roaming via 802.11r and Radio Resource Management (802.11k) optimize client connectivity. Additional features include Passpoint (Hotspot 2.0), captive portal support, Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK), and RADIUS over TLS (RadSec).

Installation and Power

Measuring 171.5 x 33 mm (6.8 x 1.3 inches) and weighing 313 g (11 oz), the U7-LITE mounts to ceilings or walls using the included Lite Mount. PoE powers the device with 13W maximum consumption across a 42.5-57V DC range. The UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure withstands indoor environments.
