WiFi 7 Performance

Equipped with WiFi 7 (802.11be) technology, the U7-LR achieves maximum data rates of 4.3 Gbps on 5 GHz and 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz. The 5 spatial stream configuration includes 3x3 MU-MIMO on 5 GHz and 2x2 MU-MIMO on 2.4 GHz, ensuring efficient multi-device connectivity. The 2.5 GbE uplink prevents network bottlenecks, allowing full utilization of WiFi 7 speeds.

Advanced Radio Technology

The U7-LR features 6 dBi antenna gain on 5 GHz and 4 dBi on 2.4 GHz, with maximum transmit power of 27 dBm and 26 dBm respectively. Channel bandwidth support extends from 20 MHz to 160 MHz across HT, VHT, HE, and EHT standards. Backward compatibility with WiFi 6, WiFi 5, and 802.11n ensures seamless integration with existing client devices.

Enterprise Features

Built for professional deployments, the U7-LR includes wireless meshing, band steering, and 802.11v/r/k protocols for optimized roaming. Advanced radio management, Private Pre-Shared Key (PPSK), and RADIUS over TLS (RadSec) provide robust security options. The captive portal supports custom branding, voucher authentication, and payment-based access for guest networks.

Flexible Installation

The compact design measures 175.7mm diameter by 43mm height and weighs 448g. The included plastic mounting plate enables ceiling or wall installation. PoE power (42.5-57V DC) simplifies deployment with a maximum consumption of 14W. The polycarbonate and aluminum alloy construction withstands ambient temperatures from -30°C to 50°C.

Management and Compatibility

Managed through UniFi Network version 9.1.120 or later, the U7-LR integrates seamlessly with existing UniFi ecosystems. Mobile app support for iOS (10.20.2+) and Android (10.21.7+) enables remote monitoring. The device is NDAA compliant and certified by CE, FCC, and IC standards.
