Running UniFi Network software, the UCG-ULTRA provides full-stack network management capabilities. The quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor at 1.5 GHz, paired with 3 GB DDR4 memory, ensures responsive performance for complex network operations. Multi-WAN load balancing optimizes internet traffic distribution across connections, preventing downtime and maintaining continuous network availability.

The device features (4) GbE RJ45 LAN ports and (1) 1/2.5 GbE RJ45 WAN port, providing flexible connectivity options for growing network infrastructures. The 0.96" LCM status display offers real-time monitoring capabilities, allowing quick status checks without accessing the management interface.
