The Ubiquiti UDB-PRO delivers professional-grade point-to-point wireless connectivity with a 5 GHz bridge capable of connecting devices at distances exceeding 5 kilometers. This WiFi 5 device bridge integrates seamlessly into UniFi network ecosystems, providing 867 Mbps maximum data rates through 2x2 MIMO technology and 19 dBi antenna gain.

Long-Range Wireless Connectivity

Designed for outdoor deployment, the UDB-PRO features IPX6 weatherproofing and UV-resistant polycarbonate construction. The internal antenna system delivers 25 dBm maximum transmit power, enabling reliable connections across 5 km (3.1 mile) coverage areas. With 80 MHz channel bandwidth support and VHT rates up to 866.7 Mbps, this bridge handles demanding network applications.

PoE Passthrough and Network Integration

The device includes two Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports with PoE input and passive PoE output capability. PoE+ input (42.5-57V DC) is required to enable the PoE passthrough function, with maximum power consumption of 9W. A PoE adapter is included with the unit. The bridge supports wall or pole mounting with diameters from 0.8 to 2.1 inches.

UniFi Network Management

The UDB-PRO requires management through a UniFi Console, Official UniFi Hosting, or Self-Hosted UniFi Network Server and cannot operate as a standalone device. WPA2 AES security is always enabled, providing encrypted wireless connections. The device supports 802.11a, 802.11n, and 802.11ac (WiFi 5) standards with data rates from 6 Mbps to 866.7 Mbps.

Technical Specifications

The compact design measures 189.5 x 64.3 mm and weighs 431g (515g with mount). Four signal strength LEDs plus power and Ethernet indicators provide status monitoring. The mount construction uses UV-stabilized polycarbonate and stainless steel, rated for 69 N wind loading at 200 km/h. A factory-reset button enables device recovery when needed.
