UISP Wave Nano 60GHz PtMP Station

The Ubiquiti UISP Wave Nano delivers professional-grade wireless connectivity for ISPs and WISPs requiring high-performance point-to-multipoint solutions. This 60GHz station connects to Wave AP infrastructure and achieves 2 Gbps total throughput (1 Gbps duplex) with link distances up to 5 km.

Dual-Radio Reliability

Built with network reliability in mind, the Wave Nano features a high-performance 5GHz backup radio ensuring uninterrupted connectivity when 60GHz signals are affected by weather conditions. The integrated Bluetooth radio simplifies initial setup and configuration through the UISP Mobile app, eliminating the need for laptop-based configuration at installation sites.

Professional Installation Features

The integrated GPS antenna enables precise timing synchronization and supports link planning through the ISP Design Center. The quad-core ARM Cortex A7 processor with 256 MB DDR3 memory handles routing operations efficiently, with router mode support available for flexible network architectures. As of firmware 3.2.0-beta2, two Wave Nano units can operate in PTP configuration for dedicated point-to-point links.

Technical Specifications

Wireless Performance: Operating in the 57-71 GHz frequency range with 43 dBi antenna gain and 21 dBm max conducted TX power. Channel bandwidth options of 2160 MHz and 1080 MHz optimize throughput versus range requirements. Maximum throughput reaches 1.8 Gbps with WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption securing all connections.

Connectivity: Single 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port with passive PoE support (48VDC ± 10%, 18W max consumption). Includes 48VDC, 0.65A Gigabit PoE adapter with UK power cable.

Build Quality: Aluminum and UV-stabilized plastic enclosure measures 413 x 413 x 360 mm, weighing 1.5 kg without mount or 2.7 kg with mount. Operates reliably in -40 to 60°C temperatures with 5-95% non-condensing humidity tolerance. ESD/EMP protection rated at 24kV air/contact.

Management & Monitoring

Multi-color LED indicators provide instant status feedback: power LED shows bootup and UISP connection status, Ethernet LED confirms traffic activity, and GPS LED indicates satellite lock (minimum 4 satellites). The airOS operating system enables management through modern web browsers or UISP mobile app. Integrated utilities include antenna alignment tool, discovery utility, ping, traceroute, and speed test functions.

Complete Installation Package

Each Wave Nano ships with pole mount hardware, wall mount with level, allen key, M6 and M3 bolts, jubilee clip, wall plugs with M3.5 screws, PoE injector, UK power cable, and alignment tool. FCC, IC, and CE certified for regulatory compliance.
