The DrayTek Vigor C510ax delivers enterprise-grade networking for branch offices and SOHO environments through its integrated 5G/4G modem and advanced multi-WAN capabilities. Multi-WAN Connectivity with Automatic Failover

Built with five WAN interfaces, the Vigor C510ax provides exceptional redundancy. The dual-SIM 5G/4G modem supports Category 19 LTE with theoretical speeds up to 3.4Gbps downlink (NSA) and 2.4Gbps (SA), with real-world throughput reaching approximately 600Mbps. Two Gigabit Ethernet WAN ports offer wired connectivity, while the AX3000 WiFi 6 module enables wireless WAN backup through hotspot tethering.

The 802.11ax dual-band wireless delivers up to 2402Mbps on 5GHz and 574Mbps on 2.4GHz. Advanced features include OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Tx Beamforming, and 1024-QAM modulation. Support for up to 8 SSIDs per band and DrayTek Mesh Root functionality with VigorAP nodes enables scalable wireless coverage. WPA3 encryption and OWE provide enhanced security.

Security and VPN Capabilities

The router delivers 940Mbps NAT throughput and 370Mbps IPsec VPN performance with hardware acceleration. Support for 4 concurrent VPN tunnels using IPsec IKEv1/IKEv2, OpenVPN, and WireGuard protocols enables secure site-to-site and remote access connections. The SPI firewall includes DoS defense, content filtering, and application-level gateway support for SIP and RTSP.

Network Management Features

Four LAN subnets with 802.1q VLAN support provide network segmentation. The router includes DHCP server with custom options, local RADIUS server, and DNS security (DNSSEC). Advanced routing protocols include RIP, BGP, and OSPF. Quality of Service features with 4 priority queues ensure VoIP and critical application performance.

Central Management and Monitoring

Compatible with VigorACS central management platform, the router can manage up to 20 VigorAP access points and 5 VigorSwitch network switches directly. DrayOS 5 firmware provides enhanced security capabilities with 5 years of software updates after EOL notification. SMS and email alerts keep administrators informed of network status.
