The DrayTek VigorSwitch P2282x (VSP2282X-K) is a Layer 2+ managed 10 Gbps switch designed for enterprise networks requiring reliable power delivery and advanced routing capabilities. This rack-mountable switch features 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ support and 4 SFP+ 10Gbps fiber uplink ports for high-speed backbone connectivity.

Power Over Ethernet with 400W Budget

All 24 ports support PoE+ (802.3at) with a total 400W power budget, capable of powering IP cameras, VoIP phones, wireless access points, LED lighting systems, POS terminals, and motion sensors. The PoE Schedule feature allows automated power cycling of connected devices, while Ping Device Check monitors device status and can automatically power cycle unresponsive PoE devices or send email alerts.

Dual Power Supply for Maximum Uptime

Beyond standard AC power input, the P2282x includes DC power input (12/54V) as a backup power source. This redundant power design ensures uninterrupted operation and protects critical data from connected devices during AC power failures, making it suitable for mission-critical deployments.

Advanced Layer 3 Features

The VigorSwitch P2282x supports wire-speed VLAN routing with up to 512 routes, allowing inter-VLAN traffic to be routed directly through the switch without burdening your gateway router. The integrated DHCP server can assign dynamic IP addresses across up to 8 VLANs, enabling your LAN to maintain connectivity even when the primary router is offline.

Intelligent Traffic Management

Auto Surveillance and Voice VLAN features automatically recognize traffic from IP cameras and IP phones, adding CoS tags for QoS prioritization. The switch supports comprehensive Quality of Service with CoS, DSCP, and IP Precedence tagging to prioritize critical network traffic. IP Conflict Prevention improves network stability by detecting and preventing conflicts from misconfigured or malicious hosts.
