The TP-Link TL-SF1008LP delivers reliable Power over Ethernet connectivity for small business and surveillance applications. This 8-port Fast Ethernet switch features 4 PoE-enabled ports with a 41W total power budget, supporting 802.3af compliant devices up to 15.4W per port.

Power Over Ethernet for IP Cameras and Access Points

The 4 PoE ports (ports 1-4) provide both data and power through a single cable, eliminating the need for separate power adapters for connected devices. Compatible with IP cameras, wireless access points, IP phones, and other 802.3af compliant equipment. Extended mode supports PoE transmission distances up to 250 meters, ideal for surveillance installations where devices are located far from the switch.

Intelligent Power Management

The switch automatically detects and supplies the appropriate power level for each connected PoE device. When total power consumption exceeds the 41W budget, intelligent power management prioritizes ports 1-2 in Priority Mode, ensuring critical devices maintain power while protecting against overload. Non-PoE devices connected to the switch remain unaffected and protected from damage.

Fanless Metal Construction

Built with durable metal casing, the TL-SF1008LP operates silently without fans while protecting internal components. The fanless design makes it suitable for noise-sensitive environments like offices and dormitories, with maximum power consumption of just 2.2W without PoE devices connected, or 47.1W with full 41W PoE load.

Plug-and-Play Operation

No configuration required. The unmanaged switch features auto-negotiation on all 8x 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports with AUTO MDI/MDIX support. Store-and-forward transmission method with 1.6 Gbps switching capacity and 1.1904 Mpps packet forwarding rate ensures stable network performance. The 2K MAC address table with auto-learning and auto-aging handles network traffic efficiently.
