Power over Ethernet Functionality

Ports 1-8 support IEEE 802.3af/at compliant Power over Ethernet, eliminating the need for separate power supplies for connected devices. With a 63W PoE power budget, this switch powers IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones, and other PoE-enabled devices directly through ethernet cables. The intelligent power management system automatically prioritizes ports when total consumption exceeds 63W, protecting the switch from overload while maintaining power to critical devices.

The TL-SG1210P provides 20 Gbps switching capacity and 14.88 Mpps packet forwarding rate, ensuring smooth data transmission across all ports. Network Compatibility

IGMP Snooping optimizes multicast traffic, while 802.3x flow control prevents packet loss during heavy traffic periods.

Power over Ethernet
Port 1-8 of the switch support Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. These PoE ports can automatically detect and supply power with those IEEE 802.3af/at compliant Powered Devices (PDs).

Intelligent Power Management
When total power consumption excels 63W, the intelligent power management will cut the lower priority port power off to ensure the high priority port's power supply and protect the device from power overload operation.
