Power Delivery and Connectivity

The U-PoE++ outputs 48V DC at 1.25A, providing up to 60W of power through 4-pair powering on pins 1, 2, 4, 5 (+) and 3, 6, 7, 8 (-). The integrated Gigabit LAN port ensures high-speed data transmission without bottlenecks. Operating on universal AC input from 100–240V at 50/60Hz, the adapter achieves over 85% efficiency with minimal output ripple of 1% maximum.

Protection and Reliability

Built-in surge protection covers both difference and common mode with clamping protection at 11V for data and 60V for power. The adapter handles maximum surge discharge of 1500A (8/20 µs) on power lines and peak pulse current of 36A (10/1000 µs) on data lines. Response time is under 1 nanosecond with shunt capacitance below 5 pF for data protection. Overcurrent protection mechanisms safeguard connected devices from power fluctuations.

Measuring 106 x 63 x 34 mm and weighing 210g, the U-PoE++ integrates easily into various network configurations. The adapter features an RJ45 shielded socket for data input and PoE output, plus an IEC-320 C6 AC connector with earth ground.
